Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training 

Erasmus+ training activity supports professional development of HEI (higher education institution) staff, as well as the development of involved institutions. The training activity may be in another university or any other appropriate organization. Training events abroad may be in the form of job shadowing, observation, attendance at workshops or courses etc.

Conference participation is not considered as an appropriate activity within the scope of personnel training activity.

 

Who is Eligible & Where can you go?

Administrative staff of SU.

Following organizations are eligible for the training activity:

·        European Higher education institution holding Erasmus University Charter

·        European Enterprise, Organization 

The European Commission have created a website detailing the staff training opportunities, such as International Weeks. You can find the website here.

 

Duration of Training Period:

The activity (visit) to a host institution can last min consecutive 2 to 5 days and preferably ''5 days training + 2 days travel''.

Evaluation Criteria (New):

Base Point: 50

Administrative Staff at SU: +15

Planned activities in the hosting unit align with the staff's responsibilities and Dare to Act & European Internship Consortiums strategy/objective: +10

Staff members who have never benefited from the experience: + 3

(will not be applied to staff working at SU for less than 1 year)

Any of the following: (Maximum +1 point)

An institution/country that has never been visited

Application from a unit that has never been involved

Work experience at SU: 0-2 (0), 3 (+4), 4 (+5), 5 (+6), 6 (+7) (Maximum +7 points)

Permanent Staff: +5

Child /spouse of martyr or veteran: +2

Staff with disability: +7

Holding the nationality of the hosting country: -5

Mobility to acquire and develop digital skills: +2

The applications will be evaluated not only according to the National Priorities determined by the Turkish National Agency but also according to the Consortiums' Priorities.

 

In case more than 1 applicant receives the same score;

Priority is given to the applicant who has no prior or less participation in Erasmus+ KA131 staff mobility program.

Priority is given to the applicant who has more job experience at SU (calculation is made based on year, month and day)

 

Erasmus+ Special Needs Support:

Erasmus+ encourages the participation of the staff with special needs in the program. Staff with special needs is a potential participant whose personal/physical condition, mental state or health condition does not allow them to participate in the project/mobility activity unless there is additional financial support.

 

Erasmus+ Staff Mobility without Grant (Zero-Grant):

It is possible to participate in the Erasmus+ staff mobility program without a grant. Those staff who would like to participate in the program without a grant need to make an application and their applications need to be evaluated as the others. Those participants with zero grant have to fulfill the rights and obligations of the program.
